PORTLAND, OR — March 15, 2004 Inspiration Software was honored with 2004 Best Educational Software Awards (BESSIES) for its products, Inspiration and Kidspiration. ComputED Learning Center and the Educational Software Preview Service of the San Diego Center for Educational Technology present the annual BESSIE Awards to recognize innovative and content rich programs and provide parents and teachers with a guide to the best children's educational software currently available.
Inspiration 7.5, the company's flagship visual learning software for students grades six through adult, received the BESSIE Award in the "Thinking Skills" category for High School. Kidspiration, the visual way to think, write and comprehend for students in kindergarten through fifth grade, was the winner in the "Thinking Skills" category for Upper Elementary. This is the seventh consecutive year that Inspiration has received this honor and the fourth year for Kidspiration.
