Inspiration Software®, Inc. today received three Education Software Review Awards (EDDIES) for Kidspiration® 2,Inspiration® and Inspiration® for Palm OS®. Kidspiration 2 won in the Thinking Skills category for Upper Elementary, the fourth consecutive award given to Kidspiration. Inspiration was awarded in the Thinking Skills category for Junior High School, marking the ninth consecutive EDDIE Award given to Inspiration. Recently introduced in May 2004, Inspiration for Palm OS received its first EDDIE award as the best Palm OS application.
The ninth annual EDDIE Awards are presented by ComputED Learning Center, San Diego's leading computer education resource. The awards recognize innovative and content-rich programs that provide teachers and parents with technology tools to help students achieve academic excellence. Kidspiration 2, released in January 2004, provides more visual ways to help K-5 students build emerging literacy skills.
