PORTLAND, OR — Nov. 15, 2004
Inspiration Software®, Inc. is honored to receive a 2005 Teachers' Choice Award for the Family for Kidspiration® 2. Released in January 2004, Kidspiration 2 offers more visual ways to help K-5 students build emerging literacy skills.

The 2nd annual Teachers' Choice Awards for the Family are presented by Learning Magazine, and the complete list of award recipients will be published in the April 2005 issue. Learning Magazine introduced the first Teachers' Choice Awards program in 1994. In 2004, it launched the Teachers' Choice Awards for the Family in order to meet the needs of companies whose educational products work in the home. Teachers from across the United States judged the entries and evaluated how effectively the products could be incorporated into the home environment. Each product was evaluated on educational value, originality and creativity, ease of use, safety and durability, and high-interest level and motivation for children.

Created for K-5 learners, Kidspiration® provides an easy way to apply the proven principles of visual learning. Students build graphic organizers by combining pictures, text and spoken words to represent thoughts and information. Kidspiration 2, the visual way to think, write and comprehend, offers more ways to help students improve standards-based skills with new capabilities, such as the Symbol Maker drawing tool, expanded SuperGrouper® options and paired pictures and words in Writing View.
